2017: My Ambitions

Happy New Year! 

2017 is finally here and there are a number of things I wish to achieve by the end of it!

Since I've started University I've basically been forced to read books about my degree, initially I thought they'd be boring but to my surprise I was wrong! Fashion books are so up my alley!

There's a number of books that I'm interested in such as The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior and Cinderella Ate My Daughter but before those let me start on these bad boys..

TRAVEL
Anybody that knows me can vouch that I am a travelling junkie! To me there's nothing better than widening your cultural knowledge. There are so many places I'd love to visit - Mexico, South Africa, Monaco & Singapore (only to name a few!). Of course, I'm a student so my funds are low but I'll definitely start saving properly!

GET AN INTERNSHIP

Sadly, in the fashion industry, it's not what you know but who you know instead. This means me getting experience is a key element and the most important thing. I'll definitely be looking into internships for the summer period as this will benefit me in the long run (something along the lines of Vivienne Westwood or Alexander McQueen would be my dream!).

CONTINUE TO BE AMBITIOUS

I think I'm a very ambitious and confident but I think in this day and age I need to be more out there, socialise more with others. In life I wish to be successful - well, I suppose everybody does! but it's one thing saying it and another to actually put the dedication and time towards it!
